I feel like Blogger has become my "booty call". I come around when I need to express something and when everything's going good we don't really stay in touch. Sad I know... but it's a pretty spot-on comparison.
At any rate, I'm back again and we'll have to see how long this lasts this time!
So where have I been? Working. Flat out, it's my only excuse.
I started and shut down Geek In The Box within a year's time because I realized I wasn't fit for running a business on my own, thank you A.D.D. - Then I started up a paranormal (a.k.a. ghost hunting) group with some friends. This venture seems to have worked out for the better. We have since started up a management and event company on the same grounds... within the paranormal research field. I lend my guerilla marketing, gfx design, content writing, and web coding skills to the project.
We started and hosted IndyParaCon, Indiana's largest paranormal convention so far. Now we're working on the first multi-state one alongside Ideal Event Management (the guy who manages the Ghost Hunters (TAPS) from Sci-Fi). The event is going to cater to the Paranormal, Horror, Gaming, and Sci-Fi crowds and will be hosted in Orlando, Indy, and Philly throughout 2010. The name is appropriately called UniversaCon. So things are definitely picking up and going well.
Outside of work I've tried to keep up with my friends, family, World of Warcraft, and my ever growing addiction to music. The latter is obviously much harder as there is always so many great tracks being released that I'll likely never hear.
Anyhow... I gotta get back to work but it feels good to be posting again.
